Beeswax is a byproduct of the honey making process. In a hive it is the material that forms the honey comb and caps that cover each of the cells. After the honey has been harvested, the comb and caps are melted and cleaned of debris. From this point the wax is ready to be formed into sheets for rolling or bricks that can be re-melted, colored if desired, and molded.
Beeswax candles are smokeless, dripless, and have a delicate fragrance of sweet honey. They are clean burning—leaving no soot behind on your walls, or ceiling. Additionally, when burning, they release negative ions that help to clean the air and rid your house or office of allergens making them naturally hypo-allergenic. Candles made of beeswax burn brighter and longer than other types of wax.
